CRM #53 The Martial Arts & Fighting Issue

Today marks the release of the Martial Arts & Fighting issue of Cosplay Realm Magazine! This is issue number 53 of CRM and we are SO excited for you all to see what we’ve got in store this month!
Our amazing cover feature this month is with Kerri Ann Hoskins- Who you may know as the original Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 3 and 4! 25 years after originally playing the character Kerri put the costume back on!! She even later designed and sewed her own updated version of Sonya’s costume that she is wearing here on our cover this month!
“I wanted to invent an updated version of Sonya’s MK3 attire while keeping the essence of her look. I thought it would bring a little excitement to my upcoming Comic-Cons. The response has been very positive. Even Ed Boon gave me a thumbs up! I may just design a few more looks…a girl needs choices in her closet, right?”
The cover shoot is photographed by I Am Zain of Jersey Media. Besides doing the shoot, the team also shot some awesome video content too! You can check out some of that over on Kerri’s Instagram page!
In our feature with Kerri we spoke with her about her time working on the Mortal Kombat games and the effect that the games and that the character Sonya Blade has had on her life. We also talked in depth about her diagnosis with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, how she stays fit and healthy, her artwork, and her love for her family!
Aside from our interview with Kerri this month, we also have a few more great features for you to check out!
