CRM #48 The Third Annual Dungeons & Dragons Issue

It may be April 1st, but there are no jokes here! Today marks the launch of Cosplay Realm Magazine’s third annual Dungeons & Dragons issue! Every year this is one of or favorite issues to put out, and it feels especially meaningful this year!
The Dungeons & Dragons community is one that is so warm, welcoming, creative, and all around a great thing to be a part of! Unfortunately, tabletop gaming has been one of the hobbies most effected over the last year as people haven’t been able to gather together in person to play their games. Still this community is resilient and has found many ways to keep their love for the game going strong and stay together virtually through things like online games, bonding over stories and characters, D&D series like Critical Role and The Adventure Zone, and through cosplaying their favorite characters!
This year’s Dungeons & Dragons issue features the talent of Rerenga Cosplay on the cover! Cosplaying here as Beauregard Lionett from Critical Role Campaign 2, played by Marisha Ray- but this is only one of Ren’s many D&D inspired cosplays! In addition to Beau, Ren has made their way about cosplaying the entire Mighty Nein, the majority of Vox Machina, characters from The Adventure Zone, and many of their own D&D original characters! Having such a huge library of D&D cosplays to choose from, we knew that they would be a perfect fit for this year’s issue!
Like the range of Ren’s own cosplays, you can also find a range of different cosplays being featured inside this issue. Characters from our favorite D&D shows, a D&D x Pokémon crossover, and of course one of our favorite sections in this issue every year- the original character section!
The OC section is always such a joy for us here at CRM! We love getting to see everyone’s unique creativity and originality through their characters! Not only do we get to see a bunch of interesting designs and cosplays, but we also get to learn about these characters through write ups of their stories, backgrounds, and favorite memories the creators have of playing their own D&D games and what it means to bring their own characters to life!
